Detailed 10-Day Gorillas, Masai Mara & Serengeti Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your professional guide will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe for the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes about 10 hours with a lunch stop in Mbarara. Enjoy a local meal before continuing to Bwindi.

On arrival, check in at your lodge and relax as you take in the peaceful surroundings and views of the forest and Virunga Mountains. Dinner will be served in the evening before you settle in for the night.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community tour

After an early breakfast, attend a briefing with park rangers who will explain the rules and safety guidelines for gorilla trekking. You will then begin your trek through the forest, crossing streams and climbing gentle hills before finding a gorilla family.

Once you locate them, spend one hour watching and taking photos. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community to learn about their traditional forest life, hunting skills, and cultural practices. You will also enjoy their traditional dances. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Fly to Entebbe and connect to Masai Mara

After breakfast, transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for your flight to Entebbe International Airport. Upon arrival, connect to your flight to Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. On arrival, check into your lodge and have lunch.
