Day 1: Pick-up and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet your driver guide for a short briefing about the safari. You will then begin your long journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Enjoy a stop for lunch midway through the trip, where you will be served a local Ugandan meal. Continue the scenic drive as you pass through green hills and villages. By evening, arrive at your lodge in Bwindi, check in, have dinner, and rest for the night.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up early to the sound of birds and enjoy breakfast at your lodge. Drive to the park offices for a briefing about gorilla trekking. The rangers will check your permits, explain the rules, and assign you to a group. With the help of guides and trackers, begin your trek through the forest in search of the mountain gorillas.
Once you find them, spend one full hour watching how they live; the mothers caring for their babies, young ones playing, and the silverback keeping watch. Take photos as you observe these fascinating primates. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch.
