Detailed 3-Day Entebbe Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Itinerary
Day 1: Pick-up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After pick-up from Entebbe, begin the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the southwestern part of Uganda. The journey takes about 8 to 9 hours. After a short briefing, start your scenic drive and enjoy the views along the way. Stop for lunch midway before continuing to the park.
Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge, have dinner, and rest for the night.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural visit
Wake up early to the sound of birds and have breakfast at your lodge. Drive to the park offices for a briefing about gorilla trekking. The rangers will explain the rules, what to expect, and how to behave around the gorillas. You will be placed in a group of eight trekkers and assigned a ranger guide who will lead you into the forest.
