On arrival at Kigali International Airport, your driver guide will brief you about the safari before starting the 3-hour drive to Volcanoes National Park. On reaching the park, check in at your lodge and have lunch.
In the afternoon, visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to explore the different traditions and customs of the Rwandan people. The visit will introduce you to their music, dance, clothing, ceremonies, and way of life. The warm hospitality of the locals makes this experience memorable.
As evening approaches, enjoy traditional dance and drama performances that express Rwanda’s rich culture. Afterward, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Start your day with breakfast at the lodge, then drive to the park headquarters for a pre-trekking briefing. The park rangers will explain the rules, safety guidelines, and trekking procedures.
You will then be divided into groups of eight people, each assigned a specific gorilla family to track. Enter the forest with your ranger guide and spend several hours searching through the thick vegetation. Once you find the gorillas, you will have one full hour to watch them as they feed, play, and care for their young. You may take photos and videos from a safe distance following the park’s rules.
After this unforgettable experience, return to your lodge for lunch and check out. In the afternoon, begin your drive back to Kigali. You will arrive after about 3 to 4 hours and be dropped off at your preferred location or at the airport for your departure flight.
